New twist in battle with rebel Indian Cricket league

There’s been another twist in cricket’s battle with a planned rebel Indian league.

The Pakistan Board has served a legal notice on Test opener Imran Farhat, who last month joined the unofficial ICL.

The Pakistan Board has asked Farhat to explain how he joined the rebel Twenty20 comeptition when he’s still a contracted player.

However Farhat says he has no intention of backing down.

New Zealand cricketers Stephen Fleming and Shane Bond have been linked to the competition along with former internationals Nathan Astle and Chris Cairns.
